Danae received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Corban University. The approaches of therapy that Danae implements are that of Object Relations and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The integration of these approaches allows for deeper understanding of how the client’s past informs their present experiences while empowering clients to utilize interventions outside of the sessions.
Throughout the counseling process, Danae is dedicated to creating a safe space within counseling sessions, where the client is able to freely express what is occurring within their life. Within this, empathy and care are crucial as Danae works collaboratively with her clients to foster an environment for growth to happen. Danae seeks to empower her clients to gain understanding and insight into their present and past while gaining tools that can aid in promoting growth and change.
